Where our Marketing & branding Journey Begun
The year was 2016; Kris was (in another life as a chef) sitting in our Cafe in Northern NSW, trying to run our Cafe and working his day job as a Business Development Manager with a leading national Digital Marketing Agency. His job was to sell digital marketing products for a national supplier while the national company sent all the work offshore. Kris tried to advocate for the local businesses through challenging times, trying to reduce contracts because floods had destroyed their businesses. But the company wouldn’t budge, receiving complaint after complaint, Kris had nowhere to turn to support the customers. He couldn’t do it anymore, so he resigned.
Our first agency was born. Kris and Leah came together and developed an Marketing Agency that was born of Ethical practices and Handshake service. And today still servicing our first customer.

The New Wave of Digital Marketing
Moving from strength to strength, Kris completed his degree in marketing. Leah Joined the NRD team in Late 2018 part-time, bringing years of business and process management along with a background in manufacturing, complimenting her recent communications designs associate degree. The River Brand continued to grow. Skip forward to 2022, we relocated to Brisbane, and finally settling in our beloved town Ipswich, we launched Bremer River Digital Marketing in early 2023.
